In the dimly lit hall of the Stanton Center in Monterey, CA, the story of one man’s defiance echoed through the hearts of those gathered. Tiananmen Mission took center stage on Monday, April 15th, captivating audiences with its raw portrayal of courage and devotion amidst a backdrop of tyranny and oppression.
A dozens of audiences shared their personal experiences after seeing the film for the first time. Among them was Ellen Gannon, a former Pan Am flight attendant, whose firsthand experience in China during the tumultuous period of 1989 student movement. Ellen lived few blocks from the Tiananmen Square at the time of June 4th Massacre. Reflecting on the emotional toll of the events depicted in the film, she offered a poignant perspective on the atrocities committed during the Tiananmen Square Massacre. “There are just no words to describe what took place,”
