When you want your hair to grow faster, but do not want to resort to severe treatments, it’s best to look for solutions easy to apply at home, such as hair masks or very simple daily routines.

The hair is sensitive. It changes its texture and strength every time you go through periods of stress, or if you don’t have a balanced diet. If you do not pay attention to it, you will notice too late the split hair tips and that it’s dry. In this case, you can not do anything, and you have to get a haircut.

But if you like to have long hair, it can be tough to lose five centimeters of it, right? That’s why it’s good to always look for solutions that help grow your hair faster.

And yes, this is possible through natural means without medical treatment. We selected the most effective solutions:

1. Eat protein

You know that what you eat affects the rate at which your hair grows? Eat protein-rich foods and you will notice the difference! Try eating fish, eggs, fruits and vegetables that have more protein.

2. Drink water!

Water helps remove toxins from the body. It’s a simple solution and who would have guessed that it could help your hair grow faster? If you drink eight glasses of water a day, you’ll feel better and so will your hair. The more strong your hair is, the faster it grows.

3. Massage with warm oil

If you massage your scalp with warm oil, your hair will grow faster! It’s a method that works and it also gives you a feeling of relaxation. Choose a hair oil (the best ones are from jojoba, coconuts or olives), heat it up a little, massage the scalp with it and then wait. Let it do its thing, then wash your hair with warm water and regular shampoo.

4. Trim your hair tips every 6-8 weeks

Even if you find this advice strange, to get a haircut, when you actually want to grow your hair faster, it is a solution that works! This is because split hair tips start to break and even if your hair grows from the root, it will not gain in length. Cut your hair one centimeter every six to eight weeks and you will gain more than you loose. We have found that nine out of ten hair styling experts agree with this.

5. Egg whites

Egg whites help the hair grow and make it smoother and shinier. Make your own hair mask in which you use egg whites, or simply mix the egg whites firmly, and apply them on your hair. It will be more healthier, stronger and grow faster.

6. Brush your hair gently

I’m not saying to brush your hair ten times a day! But if you do it once or twice in the morning, and once or twice during late evening, you’ll stimulate the circulation in the scalp area. And this stimulates faster hair growth. But be careful! Do not brush your hair when it’s wet, because it breaks faster!

7. Do not use a hair dryer!

When you want your hair to grow faster, try to avoid using the hairdryer as much as possible. I know it’s hard some times, and during winter is almost impossible. But at least during summer, try to let it dry naturally.

8. Balm treatment

For your hair to grow faster, your scalp must be healthy. A hair conditioner that has a treatment formula will help a lot.

9. Potato juice

Your hair can become very dry and brittle if you do not have enough vitamins in the body. For example, vitamins A, B and C are essential for hair growth. Clean and grind some potatoes, then squeeze the juice. Potato juice is full of good vitamins and your hair will thank you for it.

10. Essential oils

One solution is to mix these oils together: three drops of lavender oil, three drops of rosemary oil, two drops of cedar wood and cider oil, and a little jojoba oil. Mix them together and apply them to the scalp. This mixture will help your hair grow faster.
